Position Overview:
Crystal CARSTAR is searching for a qualified Body Technician for its Lenexa Kansas location. This position is responsible for all phases of crash repairs. Responsible for:
* Perform all straightening and repairs according to factory specifications and repair order including door, hood, deck alignments, chassis and frame measurements, welded on unibody parts and related tasks.
* Remove and replace sheet metal, glass and cosmetic parts, straighten/repair damaged panels and parts and makes unibody and frame pulls to within specifications.
* Apply filler and sand to match original contours.
* Checking parts for correctness prior to repairs, reporting any discrepancies to management, and returning all unused or repairable parts to management.
* Working with PM and/or GM regarding supplement processing.
* Foster a positive team spirit with all employees.

Requirements:
5 years+ experience repairing damaged body parts and vehicle bodies to factory/dealership specifications. High-school diploma (or equivalent) required. Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) certification strongly preferred. Must provide own tools in good working order to complete necessary tasks and be able to work independently without close supervision. A valid driver's license is required.
