Opportunity and position information: Frito-Lay, a leader in the snack food industry, has an opening for an experienced Fleet Technician with at least 3 – 5 years of mechanical knowledge/experience.

Must have superb organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Must have sound judgment, strong multi-tasking abilities and the motivation and drive to help the Fleet Team reach its World Class Level Goals.

-Work Week Schedule – Monday through Friday
-Scheduled Hours – 12PM to 8:30PM
-Starting Pay - $24.00 - $26.00 per hour depending upon experience, per hour depending upon experience, plus full benefits (medical, dental, vision, pension and 401K)

Position Description:
Immediate opening for an experienced Class A Mechanic. Qualified individual will possess experience with mid-size P30 trucks. Proven quality record, sound decision making skills and ability to diagnose, repair and maintain our diesel/gas fleet. A DOT Certification and/or CDL license are helpful. This job specification should not be construed to imply that these requirements are exclusive standards of the position. Employee will follow any other instructions and perform additional related duties as may be required by the supervisor. Work as a member of a team. Accurately charge parts and labor to work orders.

Minimum Job Requirements:
- Able to lift 75-100 lbs. safely
- Aptitude for all aspects of vehicle repair
- Ability to diagnose engine issues
- Comfortable working on/under trucks for and entire shift (8-10 hrs.)
- Capable of following oral and written instructions.
- Manage Parts Inventory
- Must be able to read and write; basic computer skills, experience with Microsoft Outlook a plus
- Assist in the accomplishment of company goals
