Opportunity and position information: Nestle Waters North America is seeking a 3rd Shift Warehouse Supervisor for our Somerset, NJ, location. We are looking for people committed to long-term employment with an established and growing company. Come join our team!

Supervise the daily loading, warehousing and shipping of product in accordance with company procedures and policies so that productivity, quality, service and cost objectives are met.

Position Responsibilities:

    * Supervise warehouse operations to include but not limited to - conducting daily shift meetings, developing daily work schedules and assignments, and correcting areas of workforce deficiencies
    * Picking and loading of products in accordance with the highest possible levels of quality and productivity.
    * Verify required paperwork ensuring that all products are properly counted.
    * Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
    * Rotate product as appropriate.
    * Provide a safe working environment and report and correct unsafe working conditions
    * Prepare and maintain records and reports regarding warehouse activity as required
    * Identity areas for process improvement and make recommendations to achieve this
    * Professionally develop team members by conducting regular evaluations against defined expectations. Correct any deficiencies through coaching, mentoring and instructing

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

    * Minimum: High School diploma. Desirable: College degree in Business Discipline or equivalent experience in business field
    * Minimum of three years experience in a warehouse environment that includes a minimum one year experience of supervisory role
    * Demonstrated knowledge of logistics operations to include but not limited to - shipping, receiving, warehousing, safety and equipment
    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong computer skills
    * Strong working knowledge of RMS, SAP, Globe & MS Office Suite
    * Forklift Certified - must be maintained
    * Proven leadership with ability to inspire others to work toward a common goal and reach their potential
    * Demonstrated skills with handling multiple tasks and completing tasks on deadline
    * Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the night and work at a fast pace working against deadlines without risking a safe work environment.
    * Must be able to obtain a CDL B license with air brake endorsement

Knowledge & Skills:

    * Proficiency in planning, staffing and budgeting.
    * Develop effective relationships and provide leadership.
    * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    * Knowledge of materials handling equipment.
    * Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    * Establish priorities and multi-task.
    * Possess professional business demeanor.

Other Requirements:

    * Shift work: This is a full time position Sunday through Thursday, 6:30pm-4:00am, with flexibility to work weekends due to business conditions.
