Opportunity and position information: Administrative Assistant to the Body Shop Manager. We are looking for an individual to assist Management in the operation of our paint and body shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, pleasant social & telephone manners, the ability to work independently or with a team, and computer experience with expert knowledge of:
-Microsoft Windows XP-Pro -The Internet / E-mail -Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) -Adobe Acrobat
Will also have a working knowledge of: -Photo organizing and editing software -Estimating programs -Job management software -Accounting software
Duties will include: -Answering multi-line phone system and call routing -Gathering and entering customer data -Organizing estimates and invoices -Data entry of parts and materials invoices -Tracking work flow and updating job status -Communicating with vendors, clients, and insurance companies -Other administrative duties as needed or directed
We would prefer a candidate with experience in an automotive repair environment and / or bi-lingual capabilities. Hours from 8:00 to 5:30, Monday through Friday, no weekend hours, must have full availability. Compensation dependent on experience and skills (base rate $12.00).
