Opportunity and position information: Hall Automotive in Chesapeake is now hiring a Commercial Truck Sales Associate who responsible for selling all types of trucks, from dump trucks to cube vans in a professional, ethical and knowledgeable manner. The sales person will be assigned to a territory encompassing the Hampton Roads area selling in a business to business environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2 – 5 years of outside sales experience.  College graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

The representative must build and retain good relationships with assigned commercial accounts and trucking companies. The ability to understand our clients business operations is critical in providing the most effective vehicles.  We are looking for someone who has an ambition to succeed and grow within a fast paced environment.

Requirements:

    * General understanding of an automotive vehicle
    * Ability to understand a clients needs and concerns
    * Basic understanding of computer use
    * Ability to work closely with all dealership departments
    * Self motivated, desire to succeed
    * Professional communication skills: verbal and written
    * Ability to adapt and learn new skills
    * Commercial auto sales experience a distinct plus – but we will train the right person

Required Education:

    * High school diploma or the equivalent
    * College degree in Business is preferred
