Expectations/Responsibilities:
· Ability to maintain inventory control system that meets dealerships retail, wholesale, internal and warranty needs · Establish and maintain programs designed to train, educate, motivate, and support department employees · Ability to understand and connect with a wide range of cultures, behaviors and personalities · Experience managing a staff of 10 or more employees · Experience working with a service department of 20 or more technicians · Demonstrate complete competency at all positions within the department · Establish and maintain purchasing policies including purchase orders and inventory guide figures · Use inventory control system processing procedures and management reports that permit prompt, complete, and accurate feedback of the inventory condition (turnover, obsolescence, part aging, guide quantities, and lost sales · Create and maintain a high level of customer service satisfaction by providing timely follow-up and a means of resolving customer conflicts that does not compromise the customer’s good will · Strong analytical skills and ability to formulate concrete recommendations/action plans · Responsible for maintenance of dealership equipment and general needs of facility · Manage departmental expenses · ADP experience · Proficient with word processing and database applications · Financial analysis experience highly desirable · Saturday Manager on Duty responsibilities required once every three weeks · Current ASE P2 certification or intent to take and pass certification required · AA degree or equivalent required · BA/BS preferred
